Vaan Muhil has also been involved in distribution of relief materials in all 35 working villages in Srivilliputhur and Vembakkottai blocks in Virudhu Nagar district in May 2020. 330 deserving families and 70 migrant workers and 350 women self help group members from these villages were identified by the project staff and facilitators for distribution and these families were provided family kits with 13 essential items, worth of Rs. 1000 each. Vaan Muhil also is planning to start second round of distribution of relief materials to the affected families and individuals in the working villages in Srivilliputhur and Vembakkottai blocks in Virudhu Nagar district with the support of The Freedom Fund.
